Renaissance Clothing
The clothing worn during the renaissance period changed drastically from beginning to end. It was first influenced by Medieval, Gothic, and Italian Renaissance. The clothing started out simple, but at the turn of the fifteenth century, it started to change. The style was bulky and dramatic. It had a square look to it. Everything was more simple, yet dramatic. They used such materials as velvet, to show wealth and royalty. Jewels, lace, and decorations were added all over. During the renaissance, people had a very upscale, sophisticated style.
