Jewelry
During the renaissance period, people wanted to be flat out beautiful. They added jewelry to show wealth and beauty. Jewelers designed the jewelry after exotic, natural things such as lizards, parrots, and pelicans. The colors were very distinct too. It was made of silver or gold, and a large gem was added as the base. The rest of the gems were added around it to accent it. Jewelry was based off of wealth and beauty.

Italian Tiara
This is an example of an Italian Renaissance tiara. Notice the Turquoise gems and how the tiara is made of gold, and how all the gems are based around the turquoise gem in the middle.
